HOUSE SUBSTITUTE FOR

SENATE BILL NO. 275

     A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled

"The Michigan penal code,"

by amending section 451a (MCL 750.451a).

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

     Sec. 451a. Sections Except as provided in section 451b,

sections 448, 449, 449a, 450, and 451, and 459 do not apply to a

law enforcement officer while in the performance of his the

officer's duties as a law enforcement officer.

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days

after the date it is enacted into law.

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect

unless House Bill No. 4355 of the 99th Legislature is enacted into

law.
