The bill would amend the Open Meeting Act to specify that the Act would not apply to a meeting of the Address Confidentiality Program Advisory Council.

In addition, all decisions of a public body must be made at a meeting open to the public.
The Act does not apply to various public bodies or individuals when they are deliberating the merits of a case.
Under the bill, the Act also would not apply to a meeting of the Address Confidentiality Program Advisory Council established under the Address Confidentiality Program Act, which Senate Bill 655 would create.[1]
