CONTENT

The bill would amend the Mental Health Code to allow a community mental health services program (CMHSP) to partner with entities that provide and/or manage health care and rehabilitative services for purposes directly related to fulfilling the CMHSP's general health, welfare, and service obligations.

FISCAL IMPACT

A small negative administrative fiscal impact would result for a community mental health service program should it choose to partner with a local entity. Such a partnership would result in a negligible cost to the local agencies.
