A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled
"The revised school code,"
(MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1505.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 1505. (1) The department shall select or develop and
2 make available to schools a model child development curriculum
3 designed for incorporation into high school health courses. The
4 model curriculum shall cover the development of children from
5 birth to age 5.
6 (2) The board of a school district or board of directors of a
7 public school academy that operates a high school is encouraged
8 to incorporate the model curriculum developed under subsection
9 (1) into its high school health courses.
