                                                                             A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled                                              

"The state school aid act of 1979,"                                         

(MCL 388.1601 to 388.1772) by adding section 9.                             

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1   Sec. 9.  The requirements of this act and of rules                          

2   promulgated under this act are subject to waiver under an                   

3   educational flexibility and empowerment contract issued under               

4   section 1294 of the revised school code, MCL 380.1294.

5       Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take                      

6   effect unless Senate Bill No. _____ or House Bill No. 4693                  

7   (request no. 00348'03) of the 92nd Legislature is enacted into              

8   law.
