A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4605 AS INTRODUCED 4-30-03

         The bill would amend Public Act 327 of 1927, relating to the regulation of firearms, to exclude an antique firearm from the current requirements for obtaining a license to carry a concealed weapon.  In addition, the bill would also exclude from the application of the entire act, the manufacture, sale, distribution, or possession of black gunpowder (or a substitute) for an antique firearm and the use of black gunpowder (or a substitute) in an antique firearm.
