CONTENT


The bill would repeal Section 10 of Public Act 59 of 1935, which prescribes the powers and duties of the Department of State Police. Section 10 prohibits the officers and civilian employees of the Department from taking part in any political campaign, or soliciting support through votes or money for any candidates, or for the election or appointment to any public office.
