CONTENT
The bill would amend the Michigan Liquor Control Code to decrease from $10,000 to $1,000 the annual license fee for manufacturers of spirits other than makers, blenders, and rectifiers of wines containing 21% or less of alcohol by volume.

FISCAL IMPACT
The proposed decrease in the license fee for manufacturers of spirits would have no State fiscal impact because the State currently licenses no manufacturers of spirits. If the lower fee led to new licensees in this area, revenue would increase.
The bill would have no fiscal impact on local government.
