We thank You for the opportunity to serve in the great state of Michigan.

We ask that we all would truly be unified and that we would work hard together on the issues for the betterment of the people whom we serve. We pray for those who are unemployed, that You would work in their lives and in their families and that You would use us to meet their needs.

Our Father, we pray that as our Governor gives the State of the State tonight that You would give all of us a sense of vision and focus as we look forward to continuing our service.

We pray all of this in the great and glorious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
