A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4970 AS INTRODUCED 10-7-99


House Bill 4970 would amend the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to require the owner of a vessel documented by the United States Coast Guard (or its successor) to comply with the provisions of the act concerning the payment of fees and the display of numbers. Currently, these federal vessels are not required to display numbers.
