A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4262 AS INTRODUCED 2-11-99

House Bill 4262 would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to specify that upon request and the payment of one-half the full registration fee, the secretary of state could issue a registration for a trailer coach or motor home that would be valid for six-months after the date of issuance. Under current law, a six-month, half-price registration is available upon request for use on a trailer or semitrailer weighing 1,500 pounds or less and that is used for recreational purposes.
